Rather than setting yourself up with resolutions and ultimately end up mid-February right back to where you are now, how about setting intentions? As in, look at what you want, how you want to feel and work back from that with actionable steps that will keep you on track to getting you to where you want to be.
A new year is synonymous with the new year’s resolution – something that I feel is way too much hype and pressure.
Eat healthier. Exercise more. Lose weight. Save more money and pay off debt. Watch less TV. Read more. Quit smoking. Drink less booze and even do a dry January...so much pressure!
Rather than focus on these resolutions, I set out intentions of where I want to take my life, but also what I’m going to do each day to stay grounded in those intentions and where to put my energy from sun up to sun down.
Coming up this month on EAT THIS with Lianne we are going to talk about how to be really intentional with your health, and some testing around how to recognize a pattern of self sabotage.
