Bielers Broth recipe

Dr. Henry Bieler curated the recipe to help restore balance, nourish post-illness, and aid detoxification. The nutrition profile helps restore the acid-alkaline balance. As it’s rich in sodium and potassium, these specific minerals are available for organs and glands like the adrenals (your stress glands). Food is the best medicine, and this broth is a great way to help your body heal and balance. Try out a recipe below!

3 stalks of celery, roughly chopped
3 whole zucchini, halved and roughly chopped
2 cups of green beans, fresh or frozen
1 cup of (Italian) parsley, leaves only (about a bunch of parsley)
2 tbsp of unsalted butter or ghee
add in 1-2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 cm fresh turmeric and/or ginger, grated
Season with sea salt and pepper

Put 1 cup of Meat broth (or water) into a stockpot. Add the green beans (if raw) in first and steam for about 5 minutes. Then add in celery, zucchini and parsley. Steam for another 5 - 7 minutes or until tender, but still brightly coloured. Do not overcook.

Blend vegetables and water in a blender, or use hand blender right in the saucepan, until all are liquified. Add butter or ghee and blend until melted.

Dosage: Drink at will.
